This study aimed to investigate the effect of employee happiness dimensions, namely
employee engagement, job satisfaction, and affective employee commitment, and
transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and the
moderating effect of transformational leadership on the relationship between employee
happiness dimensions and OCB. Data was collected from 405 government employees
in Abu Dhabi. Partial Least Squares- Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and the
bootstrapping technique were used to test the hypotheses. The findings showed a
positive and significant effect of employee engagement (β 0.553, t=10.164, p |
