Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini adalah bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh kepimpinan instruksional yang
diamalkan oleh pengetua serta mengenal pasti hubungan dengan amalan gaya
komunikasi pengetua terhadap komitmen organisasi sekolah menengah harian di
negeri Perak. Kajian ini juga untuk mengenal pasti tahap amalan kepimpinan
instruksional pengetua, tahap amalan gaya komunikasi pengetua dan tahap amalan
komitmen organisasi sekolah. Kajian ini turut mengenal pasti hubungan antara amalan
kepimpinan instruksional pengetua dengan gaya komunikasi pengetua dan komitmen
organisasi sekolah serta hubungan dengan jantina, lokasi tempat berkhidmat dan
tempoh perkhidmatan guru. Kajian kuantitatif ini menggunakan kaedah tinjauan
melibatkan soal selidik sebagai instrumen kajian dalam mengumpul data.
Pensampelan rawak berstrata dan pensampelan berkelompok digunakan untuk
mendapatkan maklumat daripada responden kajian seramai 374 orang guru sekolah
menengah harian di negeri Perak. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan tahap kepimpinan
instruksional adalah tinggi (M=3.68,SP=0.49), tahap gaya komunikasi pengetua pula
adalah sederhana (Min=2.98, S.P=0.57) manakala tahap komitmen organisasi adalah
sederhana (Min=2.97,S.P=0.61). Hasil kajian telah menunjukkan wujud hubungan
yang signifikan di antara kepimpinan instruksional dengan gaya komunikasi pengetua
(r=.421**,sig =0.000), gaya komunikasi pengetua dengan komitmen organisasi
(r=.352**, sig=0.000) dan kepimpinan instrusksional dengan komitmen organisasi
(r=.150**,sig=0.004). Seterusnya wujud hubungan yang signifikan bagi gaya
komunikasi pengetua sebagai pemboleh ubah mediator antara kepimpinan
instruksional dengan komitmen organisasi (Nilai koefisien=0.2367), komitmen afektif
(Nilai koefisien= 0.3720), komitmen berterusan (Nilai koefisien=0.2310) dan
komitmen normatif (Nilai koefisien=0.1389). Hasil kajian telah menyumbang kepada
perkembangan teori kepimpinan instruksional, gaya komunikasi pengetua dan
komitmen organisasi di sekolah. Kajian ini mencadangkan bagi memastikan
komitmen organisasi dipertingkatkan, maka aspek kepimpinan instruksional dan gaya
komunikasi pengetua hendaklah diberi perhatian oleh pihak-pihak yang berkaitan. |
