Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi dan pelaksanaan lima kemahiran proses
sains bersepadu (KPSB) yang terbahagi kepada lima kemahiran iaitu membuat
hipotesis, mengawal pemboleh ubah, mendefinisi secara operasi, mentafsir data dan
mengeksperimen. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah kajian kes yang dijalankan dengan
menggunakan kaedah campuran. Teknik pensampelan mudah telah digunakan.
Berdasarkan populasi kajian iaitu 21 orang guru kimia di daerah Batang Padang hanya
tujuh orang guru memberi maklumat balas tinjauan kajian ini. Data kuantitatif yang
dikumpul melalui soal selidik telah dianalisis dengan menentukan nilai pekali Crobach
Alpha pada nilai α=0.882 bagi kajian rintis. Seterusnya, dapatan kajian sebenar
dianalisis menggunakan Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 27.0
dengan mengutip data kuantitatif melalui soal selidik. Statistik deskriptif secara
keseluruhan menunjukkan persepsi dan tahap pelaksanaan KPSB adalah tinggi
(Min=4.45 dan SP=0.45) dan ini disokong dengan data kualitatif iaitu temu bual separa
berstruktur yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan tematik analisis. Kesimpulannya,
kajian ini dapat mengenal pasti tahap pelaksanaan dan bagaimana guru melaksanakan
KPSB. Implikasinya, kajian ini diharap dapat membantu pihak berkaitan melaksanakan
penelitian lanjutan bagi melihat bagaimana penerimaan pelajar bagi KPSB. |
