Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Dalam era globalisasi kini, aplikasi pengetahuan memainkan peranan yang penting dalam menyumbang kearah kelestarian alam sekitar. Walaubagaimanapun, kurangnya pengetahuan dan kesedaran dalam usaha melestarikan alam sekitar dalam kalangan generasi muda dapat memberi kesan terhadap kelestarian alam sekitar. Kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengenalpasti tahap dan hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap dan amalan kelestarian alam sekitar dalam kalangan murid Biologi dan Sains. Kajian ini merupakan kajian tinjauan dan bersifat kuantitatif. Sampel kajian adalah terdiri daripada 134 responden yang dipilih secara rawak mudah dalam kalangan murid tingkatan empat yang mengambil mata pelajaran Biologi dan Sains di sekolah menengah di daerah Kota Bharu. Instrumen kajian adalah soal selidik menggunakan skala likert 4 mata yang diadaptasi dan disahkan kesahan kandungan dan konstruknya oleh pakar-pakar penilai serta mempunyai nilai kebolehpercayaan Cronbach Alpha 0.906. Data kajian ini dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan inferensi (ujian-T dan ujian korelasi Spearman) menggunakan perisian IBM SPSS 26.0. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa tahap pengetahuan tentang kelestarian alam sekitar dalam kalangan murid biologi (M= 3.73, SP=0.28) dan sains (M=3.56, SP=0.31) berada pada tahap tinggi. Sikap kelestarian alam sekitar antara murid biologi (M=3.63, SP=0.27) dan sains (M=3.52, SP=0.30) juga di tahap tinggi. Walaubagaimanapun, amalan kelestarian alam sekitar antara murid biologi (M=3.09, SP=0.42) dan sains (M=3.01, SP=0.36) pada tahap sederhana.
