Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap pengetahuan dan tahap kesediaan guru
pelatih Biologi terhadap gamifikasi serta hubungan antara tahap pengetahuan dan tahap
kesediaan guru pelatih Biologi terhadap gamifikasi dalam sesi pengajaran dan
pembelajaran (PdP) subjek Biologi. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kajian tinjauan
melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Seramai 97 orang guru pelatih Biologi yang terdiri daripada
semester 6 dan 7 di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) telah dipilih berdasarkan
kaedah persampelan rawak mudah. Kajian tinjauan ini menggunakan soal selidik dalam
platform Google Form dengan pengukuran skala Likert 1-4 sebagai instrumen kajian. Dua
orang pakar yang terdiri daripada Pensyarah UPSI telah mengesahkan instrumen kajian
dengan peratusan nilai persetujuan yang tinggi iaitu 85%. Kajian rintis dijalankan terhadap
30 orang responden bagi menguji kebolehpercayaan instrumen. Nilai Alpha Cronbach
yang diperolehi ialah (α = 0.842). dan ditafsirkan sebagai baik dan diterima. Statistical
Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 27 telah digunakan bagi menganalisis data kajian.
Dapatan kajian dianalisis menggunakan frekuensi, peratusan, nilai min, sisihan piawai dan
ujian korelasi Spearman's Rho. Keputusan min dan sisihan piawai menunjukkan bahawa
guru pelatih Biologi UPSI mempunyai tahap pengetahuan yang tinggi terhadap gamifikasi
(M=3.56, SP=0.389). Namun, tahap kesediaan yang sederhana (M=3.30, SP=0.437).
