Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tahap pengetahuan dan kesediaan guru pelatih
Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) berkaitan perubahan iklim. Reka bentuk kajian
ini adalah kajian tinjauan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Seramai 152 responden telah
terlibat secara langsung dalam kajian ini yang terdiri daripada mahasiswa Sains dan Biologi
semester 6 dan 7. Instrumen kajian ini adalah borang soal selidik melalui platform Google
Form. Kesahan instrument kajian telah dijalankan oleh dua orang pakar dari UPSI dan nilai
kesahan muka ialah 95%. Nilai Coefficient Validity Index (CVI) yang diperoleh untuk soal
selidik ialah 0.955. Nilai ini dapat ditafsirkan sebagai diterima dan cemerlang. Kajian rintis
telah dijalankan bagi menguji kebolehpercayaan instrumen soal selidik. Nilai Cronbach’s
Alpha yang diperolehi ialah 0.864 dan ditafsirkan sebagai baik dan diterima. Statistical
Package for Social Science (SPSS) telah digunakan bagi menganalisis data kajian secara
deskriptif untuk menentukan kekerapan, peratusan, min dan sisihan piawai. Purata yang
diperoleh untuk setiap konstruk ialah 3.82 (SP=0.395) untuk tahap pengetahuan dan 3.73
(SP=0.453) untuk tahap kesediaan guru pelatih UPSI Sains dan Biologi berkaitan
perubahan iklim. Kesimpulannya, tahap pengetahuan dan kesediaan guru pelatih UPSI
Sains dan Biologi berkaitan perubahan iklim adalah pada tahap yang tinggi. Kajian ini
memberikan impak yang positif kepada bakal guru dari segi pembelajaran dan pengajaran
sains dan biologi berkaitan subtopik perubahan iklim. |
