Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
Kajian ini dijalankan untuk menentukan hubungan tekanan akademik terhadap kesejahteraan diri pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan di Fakulti Pengurusan dan Ekonomi, UPSI. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang melibatkan 150 orang mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik pensampelan rawak mudah. Data dikumpul menggunakan borang soal selidik. Data dianalisis menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 25 untuk menguji hubungan antara tekanan akademik terhadap kesejahteraan diri pelajar. Analisis korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk menganalisis hipotesis mengenai tekanan akademik terhadap kesejahteraan diri pelajar. Kekuatan hubungan antara beban tugas dengan kesejahteraan diri menunjukkan hubungan yang sederhana dengan nilai 0.576 diikuti harapan ibu bapa dengan nilai 0.511. Bagi peperiksaan, kekuatan hubungan berada pada tahap yang lemah dengan nilai 0.308. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara beban tugas, peperiksaan dan harapan ibu bapa terhadap kesejahteraan diri. Kajian ini boleh dijadikan rujukan kepada pelajar universiti agar lebih peka terhadap faktor-faktor tekanan akademik yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan diri pelajar.
