Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap pengambilan makanan segera oleh pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan tahun akhir di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) dalam masa seminggu. Selain itu juga, kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenalpasti faktor dominan dalam pengambilan makanan segera oleh pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan tahun akhir di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). Seterusnya, kajian ini telah dijalankan di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) yang melibatkan 375 pelajar di peringkat sarjana muda daripada pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan (ISMP) tahun akhir dan menggunakan teknik persampelan rawak mudah. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk tinjauan telah digunakan dalam kajian ini melalui satu instrumen sahaja iaitu borang soal selidik. Data kajian telah dikumpul, diproses dan dianalisis sepenuhnya menggunakan Pakej Statistik Sains Sosial (SPSS) versi 25.0. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif min dan sisihan piawai bagi menjawab setiap persoalan dalam kajian. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap pengambilan makanan segera dalam masa seminggu ialah (M=3.48, SP=1.054) dan berada pada tahap sederhana tinggi. Hasil dapatan persoalan kedua pula iaitu faktor dominan pengambilan makanan segera pula mencatatkan faktor sikap (M=3.76, SP=0.846), faktor sosial (M=3.66, SP=0.937) serta faktor ketersediaan (M=4.19, SP=0.723). Berdasarkan hasil kajian persoalan kedua, faktor ketersediaan berada pada tahap tinggi dan merupakan faktor dominan dalam pengambilan makanan segera. Oleh itu, tahap pengambilan makanan segera oleh pelajar ISMP tahun akhir berada pada tahap sederhana tinggi dengan faktor ketersediaan menjadi faktor dominan dalam pengambilannya. Semua pihak seperti pelajar dan institusi pendidikan perlu berganding bahu untuk melaksanakan usaha yang berterusan dan efektif agar pengambilan makanan segera dalam kalangan pelajar ini tidak berlebihan dan menyebabkan kehadiran pelbagai penyakit pada masa hadapan.
