Ketagihan internet dan Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) kini menjadi fenomena global dan semakin membimbangkan terutama dalam kalangan remaja. Remaja luar bandar juga berpotensi mengalami ketagihan internet dan FoMO. Individu yang mengalami ketagihan internet dikaitkan dengan tingkah laku FoMO. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap ketagihan internet dan FoMO pelajar sekolah menengah di luar bandar. Selain itu, kajian juga adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan perkaitan antara ketagihan internet dan FoMO dalam kalangan pelajar. Kajian kuantitatif ini melibatkan 145 orang pelajar yang berusia 16 tahun terdiri daripada 57 pelajar lelaki dan 88 pelajar perempuan dari lima buah sekolah menengah luar bandar di Negeri Selangor. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen Malay Version Internet Addiction Test (MVIAT) dan Fear of Missing Out Scale (FoMOS) untuk mengukur tahap ketagihan internet dan FoMO dan diedarkan secara dalam talian melalui Google Form. Analisis deskriptif dan inferensi telah dijalankan menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa pelajar sekolah menengah luar bandar mengalami tahap ketagihan internet yang ringan iaitu 54.4% manakala tahap FoMO menunjukkan responden berada pada tahap sederhana iaitu 53.1%. Hasil ujian Korelasi Pearson mendapati terdapat hubungan signifikan positif antara ketagihan internet dan FoMO dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah luar bandar iaitu (r=0.342, p
