Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
Kajian ini bertujuan membangunkan modul algebra berasaskan strategi penjanaan masalah (MA-SPM) menggunakan model ADDIE bagi dua tajuk algebra Tingkatan Dua. Seterusnya, kajian ini mengenal pasti kesan modul MA-SPM terhadap kemahiran penyelesaian masalah algebra dan kefahaman algebra murid. Reka bentuk kaedah gabungan ‘embedded design mixed method’ yang terdiri daripada kajian kuasi eksperimen dan kajian kes digunakan. Teknik pensampelan yang digunakan adalah pensampelan rawak mudah dan pensampelan bertujuan. Kajian kuasi eksperimen melibatkan 31 orang murid kumpulan rawatan dan 30 orang murid kumpulan kawalan. Manakala dua orang murid dipilih sebagai responden untuk kajian kes. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan kumpulan rawatan meningkat lebih tinggi dalam semua aspek kemahiran penyelesaian masalah berbanding kumpulan kawalan. Seterusnya, kajian kes melalui temu bual klinikal mendapati murid menunjukkan tingkah laku menyelesaikan masalah yang lebih baik pada tahap kefahaman ‘memformalkan’, ‘menstruktur’ dan ‘mencipta’ iaitu ‘membina idea’, ‘menerangkan idea’ dan ‘mengesahkan idea’. Kesimpulannya, Modul MA-SPM yang dibangunkan dapat meningkatkan kemahiran penyelesaian masalah dan kefahaman murid dalam menyelesaikan masalah algebra. Implikasinya, Modul MA-SPM boleh digunakan sebagai bahan pengajaran dan pembelajaran alternatif untuk melaksanakan strategi penjanaan masalah dengan lebih berkesan bagi kefahaman algebra Tingkatan Dua.
