Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun |
Kajian ini merupakan inovasi terhadap konsep persembahan aria Cleopatra dalam
opera Giulio Cesare karya George Friederic Handel. Konsep ornamentasi restyle
dibangunkan dengan pendekatan rekayasa, simbiotik dan penaakulan terhadap
ornamentasi muzik klasikal barat dan Melayu asli. Ornamentasi restyle direalisasikan
secara aktualisasi persembahan dan dinotasikan sebagai penyusunan semula dimana
berlakunya pemindahan sifat (gen) ornamentasi budaya lagu Melayu asli kepada sifat
(gen) ornamentasi budaya klasikal barat dalam menghasilkan persembahan nyanyian
yang ekspresif, kreatif dan inovatif. Kajian persembahan menjurus kepada metod kajian
practice-led dimana potensi sifat asal practice diperkembangkan kepada pengetahuan
baru dengan mengambil kira kepentingan operasional terhadap kelangsungan practice
yang dibincangkan dalam kaedah proses kreatif. Proses kreatif berlaku kepada dua
bahagian iaitu proses kreatif kritis dan dan proses kreatif intuitif. Proses kreatif kritis
merujuk kepada idea-idea kreatif yang diperolehi melalui pemikiran kritis yang bersifat
convergent. Pengetahuan tentang idea kreatif didapatkan secara linear, analitik dan
objektif. Terdapat dua fasa dalam proses kreatif kritis iaitu kajian/perancangan dan
finalization (pemuktamadan). Proses kreatif intuitif atau intuitive creative process
merujuk kepada idea-idea kreatif yang diperolehi melalui pemikiran kreatif yang
bersifat divergent. Pengetahuan tentang idea kreatif didapatkan secara non-linear,
generatif dan subjektif. Terdapat enam fasa dalam proses kreatif intuitif iaitu inspirasi,
ideasi, kritik, refleksi, evaluasi dan persembahan. Hasil inovasi dan perlaksanaan
terhadap metodologi, kajian ini memberikan impak yang besar terhadap persembahan
kreatif kepada konteks sosial yang lebih luas dengan menawarkan perspektif
persembahan yang baharu mengenai metodologi dalam bidang penyelidikan artistik
terhadap muzik. |
