Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun |
Tujuan kajian ini adalah pertama untuk mengkaji pengetahuan guru tadika terhadap
aktiviti alam semula jadi kedua mengkaji strategi pengajaran guru tadika terhadap alam
semula jadi dan ketiga mengkaji amalan pendidikan alam semula jadi yang
dilaksanakan oleh guru, di tadika. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif
dengan rekabentuk kajian kes. Peserta kajian terdiri daripada tiga orang guru dari tiga
buah tadika swasta di Daerah Manjung, Perak. Data kajian diperoleh menerusi hasil
pelbagai sumber termasuk temu bual separa berstruktur, pemerhatian serta analisis
dokumen. Skop kajian ini terhad kepada guru tadika swasta yang menjalankan
pendidikan alam semula jadi. Analisis kajian dijalankan dengan menggunakan
pengkodan terbuka, pengkodan paksi dan pengkodan pilihan. Dapatan kajian pertama
menunjukkan bahawa pengetahuan guru tadika berkaitan alam semula jadi adalah
melalui kemahiran dan latihan yang dimiliki mereka. Dapatan kajian kedua adalah
pendekatan kontekstual, bahan dan nilai murni merupakan komponen yang terlibat
dalam strategi pengajaran pendidikan alam semula jadi. Dapatan kajian ketiga
mendapati sebagai guru tadika, amalan pendidikan alam semula jadi yang diterapkan
ke dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran dapat mempengaruhi amalan kanak-kanak.
Sumbangan kajian ini kepada negara adalah untuk melahirkan pendidik awal kanakkanak
dan generasi yang celik tentang kepentingan memelihara dan memulihara
khazanah alam semula jadi untuk manfaat kehidupan masa akan datang. Selain itu,
kepada pihak Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia, pengurusan tadika dan guru tadika,
kajian ini bertujuan untuk menyokong pelaksanaan pendidikan alam semula jadi di
peringkat tadika. Kesimpulannya, hasil kajian dapat dijadikan panduan bagi membantu
guru tadika serta pihak pengurusan tadika untuk lebih yakin menjalankan pendidikan
alam semula jadi di dalam atau di luar kelas tadika. |
