| Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan dan menentukan keberkesanan kit
MyScPTE terhadap pencapaian serta menilai persepsi pelajar terhadap minat dan
motivasi dalam standard kandungan Jadual Berkala Unsur di dua buah sekolah
menengah di daerah Larut, Matang dan Selama. Kajian ini adalah kajian kuantitatif
yang melibatkan reka bentuk kajian pembangunan dan kajian kuasi-eksperimental.
Responden kajian terdiri daripada dua buah kelas pelajar tingkatan empat (n = 60) yang
dipilih secara pensampelan rawak berkelompok. Dua buah kelas tersebut dijadikan
sebagai kumpulan rawatan (n = 30) dan kumpulan kawalan (n = 30). Dapatan soal
selidik minat dan motivasi dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif sementara pra
dan pasca ujian dianalisis menggunakan statistik inferensi. Kit MyScPTE memperoleh
indeks kesahan yang baik iaitu 1.00. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan peningkatan
pencapaian pelajar lebih tinggi bagi kumpulan rawatan (95%) berbanding kumpulan
kawalan (30%). Minat (M = 4.63, SP = 0.54) dan motivasi (M = 4.46, SP = 0.58)
kumpulan rawatan juga berada di tahap skor min tinggi. Ujian-t sampel bebas dalam
ujian pasca menunjukkan terdapatnya perbezaan signifikan bagi kumpulan rawatan
(M = 51.73, SP = 10.18) dan kumpulan kawalan (M = 31.07, SP = 5.00, t (42.23) =
9.97, p = 0.000) yang mana skor min kumpulan rawatan adalah lebih tinggi berbanding
kumpulan kawalan walaupun kedua-dua kumpulan menunjukkan peningkatan
signifikan antara pra dan pasca ujian. Kesimpulannya, kit MyScPTE berjaya
dibangunkan dengan kesahan yang baik. Kit MyScPTE meningkatkan pencapaian
pelajar bagi standard kandungan Jadual Berkala Unsur. Persepsi pelajar terhadap minat
dan motivasi berada pada tahap yang tinggi. Implikasinya, kit MyScPTE sebagai salah
satu bahan bantu mengajar yang boleh digunakan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan
pencapaian, minat dan motivasi pelajar dalam standard kandungan Jadual Berkala
Unsur. |
