Kajian ini bertujuan mengenalpasti tahap sikap dan pertimbangan profesional guru dalam
amalan pentaksiran formatif di kalangan guru. Hubungan antara sikap dan pertimbangan
profesional guru terhadap amalan pentaksiran formatif guru dan peramal terbaik di antara
sikap dan pertimbangan profesional guru terhadap amalan pentaksiran formatif guru juga
dikenalpasti. Kajian ini berbentuk kuantitatif tinjauan keratan rentas melibatkan 226 orang
responden terdiri dari guru yang mengajar Sains di sekolah menengah harian di daerah
Petaling di bawah Pejabat Pendidikan Petaling Perdana, Selangor. Teknik pensampelan rawak
berkelompok berperingkat digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Instrumen soal selidik yang
digunakan dalam kajian daripada adaptasi tiga instrumen kajian lepas yang mempunyai nilai
kebolehpercayaan pekali Alfanya melebihi 0.60. Data telah dianalisis secara statistik
deskriptif dan inferensi. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan skor min bagi sikap guru (M= 3.94,
SP= 0.59), pertimbangan profesional guru (M=3.96, SP= 0.58), amalan pentaksiran formatif
guru (M=4.14, SP= 0.548) masing-masing berada pada tahap tinggi. Hubungan antara sikap
dan amalan pentaksiran formatif guru adalah sederhana kuat dan signifikan (r=0.597,
