Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
Kajian literatur ini meneroka kes mencederakan diri dalam kalangan remaja, menumpukan faktor-faktor yang membawa kepada kecederaan diri dan niat mereka untuk mencederakan diri. Sebanyak 31 artikel yang dirujuk adalah yang diterbitkan secara sistematik antara 2010 hingga 2023 daripada tiga pangkalan data utama, Dapatan analisis menunjukkan beberapa faktor boleh menyumbang kepada tingkah laku mencederakan diri sendiri, termasuk psikologi, alam sekitar, dan sosial. Faktor psikologi dikategorikan kepada peraturan emosi yang tinggi, gangguan kesihatan mental, trauma dan penderaan, personaliti. Faktor persekitaran pula adalah mengenai penyalahgunaan bahan. Faktor sosial pula termasuk tekanan budaya dan masyarakat, pengaruh media, dinamik keluarga, buli dan tekanan rakan sebaya, Faktor lazim yang membawa kepada mencederakan diri dengan niat membunuh diri ialah psikologikal dan mencederakan diri bukan dengan niat membunuh diri ialah sosial. Faktor psikologi merupakan faktor yang penting untuk dititikberatkan agar kesejahteraan diri remaja terpelihara. Adalah penting untuk menitikberatkan faktor-faktor yang boleh mendorong remaja mencederakan diri mereka agar langkah pencegahan awal dapat dilakukan dan intervensi yang bersesuaian.
