Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk mengenal pasti tahap kesediaan amalan kepimpinan distributif pengetua dan hubunganya dengan tahap kepuasan kerja guru di sekolah menengah di Selangor, Malaysia. Kajian ini juga bertujuan mengenal pasti cabaran dalam melaksanakan distributif. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan dengan seramai 440 orang guru dari 40 buah sekolah menengah. Selain itu, untuk mentriangulasi dapatan kajian tinjauan, temu bual separa berstruktur telah dijalankan dengan enam orang pengetua. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan tahap kesediaan amalan kepimpinan distributif pengetua secara keseluruhannya berada pada tahap tinggi. Kepimpinan distributif pengetua juga didapati mempunyai korelasi yang tinggi dengan kepuasan kerja guru khususnya dimensi amalan kepimpinan, budaya sekolah dan perkongsian tanggungjawab. Dimensi penetapan dan perkongsian misi, visi dan matlamat sekolah berada pada aras korelasi sederhana sahaja. Kajian ini menunjukkan pengetua perlu melengkapkan diri dengan kepimpinan distributif supaya dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja guru secara berkesan.
