Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Background: This research aims to analyze the current state and future trajectory of the correlation between physical education and physical health in primary and secondary schools in Malaysia. Objective: To enhance well-being, productivity, and recreational pursuits, it is crucial to develop formal and informal learning environments in schools and communities. These environments should educate, inspire, and transform individuals in the twenty-first century. Education must now foster a more comprehensive understanding of diverse cultures and contexts. This can be facilitated by technological advancements that allow for the global dissemination of knowledge. Method: This article sheds light on the issues that have emerged in the Physical and Health Education curriculum in the twenty-first century. It highlights the significance of these issues and the challenges encountered. Additionally, it explores how Physical and Health Education aligns with the National Education Philosophy to enhance its prominence. Conclusion and Limitation: However, achieving this goal requires addressing the barriers and obstacles within the curriculum, including the perspectives of school administrators and students engaged in Physical and Health Education activities. © 2024, Artseduca.
