Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun |
Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk membangunkan sebuah modul pengajaran secara Inkuiri 5E untuk subjek Sains tahun satu bagi topik Bumi serta menentukan keberkesanannya. Modul yang dibangunkan ini dinamakan sebagai Modul Pengajaran Subjek Sains Secara Inkuiri 5E. Hasil tinjauan daripada soal selidik analisis keperluan modul menunjukkan guru-guru masih memerlukan sebuah modul pengajaran berkonsepkan model Inkuiri 5E walaupun tahap pengetahuan dan kemahiran guru tentang model tersebut adalah tinggi. Kajian ini dijalankan secara dua fasa iaitu fasa pembangunan modul dan fasa penilaian modul. Proses pembangunan modul ini adalah berpandukan model ADDIE manakala kesahan modul yang telah diperolehi ialah sebanyak 0.93. Kebolehpercayaan modul yang diperolehi melalui pekali alpha Cronbach juga adalah pada nilai yang baik iaitu sebanyak .880. Di dalam fasa penilaian modul, reka bentuk kajian yang dipilih ialah secara kuasi eksperimen dan lokasi kajian adalah di negeri Perak. Sampel dipilih daripada kalangan murid tahun satu dan jumlah sampel adalah seramai 38 orang. Seramai 18 orang pelajar dipilih secara rawak untuk mengikuti kaedah penggunaan modul manakala 20 orang pelajar lagi mengikuti kaedah tradisional. Ujian pencapaian pra ditadbir kepada sampel sebelum intervensi. Tempoh intervensi dilaksanakan adalah selama enam minggu dan setelah selesai intervensi, ujian pencapaian pasca dijawab oleh sampel. Hasil ujian-t tidak bersandar ujian pra untuk kedua-dua kumpulan menunjukkan tiada perbezaan signifikan dengan nilai p=.111 (p>.05).
