Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun |
Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk meneroka bentuk tekanan, faktor tekanan, kesan tekanan dan strategi yang
diambil oleh murid Orang Asli untuk menangani masalah tekanan. Kajian kes kualitatif dijalankan di se buah
sekolah menengah daerah Kuantan ke atas lima orang murid Orang Asli. Data dianalisis menggunakan Model
3C Lichtman menggunakan aspek Koding, Kategori dan Konsep. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat
sebanyak 10 tema termasuk tekanan akademik, te kanan emosi, tekanan keluarga, kesan fizikal, kesan emosi,
kesan tingkah laku, kesan sosial, daya tindak berfokuskan pengelakan, daya tindak berfokuskan makna, dan
daya tindak sosial. Hasil kajian ini mencadangkan keperluan intervensi khusus dalam pendidik an dan
perkhidmatan bimbingan dan kaunseling yang disesuaikan dengan cabaran unik yang dihadapi oleh murid
Orang Asli. Implikasi untuk aspek pendidikan dan sokongan kaunseling turut dibincangkan.
