Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun |
Pelaksanaan pendidikan STEM di peringkat sekolah oleh guru sains didapati masih belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tahap kemahiran pedagogi dan kesediaan guru sains terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan STEM dalam PdPc serta melihat hubungan di antara kedua-dua pemboleh ubah. Kajian ini melibatkan seramai 128 orang guru sains sekolah menengah di daerah Besut, Terengganu. Sampel ini dipilih menggunakan teknik pensampelan rawak mudah. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah kajian tinjauan dan instrumen soal selidik telah digunakan dalam kajian ini bagi menjawab persoalan kajian. Hasil dapatan kajian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif iaitu kekerapan, peratusan, min dan sisihan piawai. Analisis deskriptif menjelaskan tahap kemahiran pedagogi dan kesediaan guru sains terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan STEM, manakala statistik inferensi pula melibatkan ujian korelasi Pearson untuk menerangkan hubungan antara pemboleh ubah kajian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa guru sains mempunyai tahap kemahiran pedagogi (M=3.22, SP=0.34) dan kesediaan (M=3.25, SP= 0.38) yang sederhana terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan STEM dalam PdPc. Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemahiran pedagogi dan kesediaan guru sains terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan STEM dalam PdPc (r= 0.734, p= 0.000). Kesimpulannya, kemahiran pedagogi dan kesediaan guru sains adalah berada pada tahap yang sederhana. Implikasi kajian ini boleh dijadikan panduan untuk guru dalam merancang sesi latihan yang berkesan, yang bertujuan memperkukuhkan kemahiran pedagogi dan meningkatkan kesediaan mereka terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan STEM dalam PdPc. |
