Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membina dan menilai kesan modul Guided Fitness and Skills Training (G-FiST). Pembinaan modul G-FiST ini adalah berdasarkan kepada model Sidek & Jamaludin. Modul G-FiST telah melalui proses kesahan pakar kandungan (96%) dan mempunyai nilai kebolehpercayaan (_=.94) yang tinggi. Kajian ini menilai kesan modul terhadap tahap kecergasan fizikal berdasarkan kesihatan dan minat terhadap aktiviti fizikal. Pendekatan kajian kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk quasiexperimental, (Pretest _ Postest Control Group Design) digunakan dalam kajian ini. Modul G-FiST mengandungi 16 aktiviti kecergasan fizikal dan lapan aktiviti kemahiran yang telah dijalankan ke atas murid tahun lima di empat buah sekolah di Daerah Bera, Pahang. Pemilihan sekolah dilakukan melalui teknik fishball draw dan pemilihan sampel seramai 160 orang dipilih berdasarkan kaedah intact sampling. Sampel terdiri daripada kumpulan rawatan (n=80) dan kumpulan kawalan (n=80). Tiga jenis instrumen digunakan iaitu modul G-FiST, soal selidik minat terhadap aktiviti fizikal dan bateri ujian Standard Kecergasan Fizikal Kebangsaan untuk Murid Sekolah Malaysia (SEGAK). Analisis paired samples t-test dan One Way ANCOVA digunakan untuk menganalisis dapatan kajian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan ke atas skor min ujian pasca Indeks Jisim Badan, daya tahan kardiovaskular, daya tahan otot, kekuatan otot, fleksibiliti dan minat terhadap aktiviti fizikal antara kumpulan rawatan dan kumpulan kawalan selepas mengikuti modul GFiST. Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap indeks jisim badan, daya tahan kardiovaskular, fleksibiliti dan minat terhadap aktiviti fizikal bagi kumpulan rawatan lelaki manakala berlaku peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap daya tahan otot dan kekuatan otot bagi kumpulan rawatan perempuan. Kesimpulannya, modul G-FiST yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan pemudahcaraan (PdPc) Pendidikan Jasmani selama lapan minggu meningkatkan tahap kecergasan fizikal berdasarkan kesihatan dan minat terhadap aktiviti fizikal bagi murid tahun lima. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa penggunaan modul Guided Fitness and Skills Training (G-FiST) dapat meningkatkan keberkesanan PdPc Pendidikan Jasmani.
