Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tahap pengetahuan dan kemahiran kewarganegaraan digital serta kreativiti digital bagi nilai literasi digital dalam kalangan pelajar tingkatan empat kawasan bandar dan luar bandar di Perak. Kajian ini memfokuskan kepada lapan elemen daripada Kerangka Kerja Kecerdasan Digital (DQ) iaitu, identiti digital, penggunaan digital, keselamatan digital, pengawasan digital, emosi kecerdasan digital, komunikasi digital, literasi digital dan hak digital. Seramai 444 orang pelajar tingkatan empat di beberapa buah daerah di Perak telah dipilih berdasarkan persampelan rawak strata dan instrumen borang soal selidik telah diedarkan menggunakan platform Google Form. Hasil daripada tinjauan mendapati bahawa tahap pengetahuan kewarganegaraan digital pelajar di Perak adalah berada pada kedudukan yang baik. Analisis juga merekodkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemahiran dan nilai literasi digital dalam kalangan pelajar tingkatan empat di Perak. Walau bagaimanapun, analisis bagi objektif ketiga dan keempat merumuskan bahawa tidak ada perbezaan yang signifikan antara aspek kemahiran kewarganegaraan digital dan kreativiti digital terhadap nilai literasi digital antara pelajar tingkatan empat di kawasan bandar dan luar bandar di Perak. Hasil analisis kajian ini turut menunjukkan bahawa literasi digital pelajar bagi aspek pengetahuan, kemahiran dan nilai masing-masing berada dalam keadaan yang terkawal. Walau bagaimanapun, keselamatan digital dan pengawasan digital perlu dipertingkatkan dari masa ke masa. Selain itu, pelajar perlu terus diberi kesedaran akan kepentingan pengetahuan digital khususnya keadaan pada masa kini memerlukan mereka menggunakan ruang digital. Dampak daripada penyelidikan ini menunjukkan literasi digital dapat membantu pelajar dalam pemilihan informasi yang tidak terkawal yang wujud di pelbagai platform dan juga mengurangkan risiko terjebak dengan kegiatan jenayah siber. Akhir sekali, implikasi kajian ini dapat mendorong pelajar agar mampu menyemak, mengimbas, menganalisis, menyelidik, menilai, membandingkan dan mengakses maklumat yang benar serta dapat mencipta sesuatu yang bermanfaat terhadap orang lain terutamanya masyarakat Malaysia untuk menjadi warga digital yang memiliki tahap literasi yang tinggi. |
