Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
Kajian ini bertujuan membina dan menilai kerangka Perwakilan Visual Bar (PVB) bagi penyelesaian masalah berbentuk Kemahiran Berfikir Aras Tinggi (KBAT) matematik Tahun Empat. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan Reka Bentuk dan Pembangunan jenis I yang merangkumi tiga fasa untuk membangun dan menilai kerangka PVB. Dalam fasa pertama, iaitu fasa analisis keperluan, tahap KBAT murid telah diuji menggunakan instrumen ujian tahap KBAT matematik murid Tahun Empat dan temu bual terhadap guru berkaitan dengan isu dan cabaran dalam PdPc matematik, khususnya berkaitan dengan kemahiran penyelesaian masalah berbentuk KBAT dalam kalangan murid Tahun Empat. Dalam fasa yang kedua iaitu fasa reka bentuk dan pembangunan kerangka PVB, kaedah Fuzzy Delphi telah dipilih melibatkan seramai 13 orang pakar untuk mendapatkan persetujuan, kesepakatan dan kesahan terhadap konstruk kerangka yang dibangunkan. Dalam fasa ketiga iaitu fasa penilaian, kajian kuasi-eksperimental telah dijalankan di 2 buah sekolah di Daerah Bangsar-Pudu. Dapatan fasa analisis keperluan menunjukkan nilai min yang rendah bagi ujian tahap KBAT murid dengan nilai min 19.20 dan sisihan piawai 17.00. Seterusnya, dapatan kajian Fuzzy Delphi menunjukkan pakar telah bersetuju dan mencapai kesepakatan terhadap lima elemen dan dua belas sub elemen dengan dapatan setiap item melebihi 85% ke atas. Dapatan bagi kajian kuasi-ekperimental menunjukkan peningkatan nilai min hanya sebanyak 7.33 bagi kumpulan kawalan manakala kumpulan rawatan menunjukkan peningkatan sebanyak 23.95. Keputusan ini menunjukkan kumpulan rawatan menunjukkan peningkatan nilai min yang jauh lebih tinggi daripada kumpulan kawalan. Selain itu, temu bual bersama pakar iaitu guru yang mengajar matematik juga dijalankan bagi mendapatkan persepsi mereka terhadap kerangka PVB. Kesimpulannya penggunaan kerangka PVB dalam pembelajaran matematik dapat meningkatkan pencapaian murid dalam kemahiran penyelesaian masalah berbentuk KBAT dalam kalangan murid Tahun Empat. Implikasi kajian ini diharap dapat mengukuhkan teori dan amalan dalam PdPc matematik bagi membantu meningkatkan KBAT dalam kalangan murid-murid sekolah rendah.
