| Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi guru pelatih Bahasa Melayu di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) dalam melaksanakan tanggungjawab mereka sebagai bakal pendidik. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk kajian tinjauan telah digunakan, di mana soal selidik dijadikan instrumen utama. Seramai 160 pelajar Ijazah Sarjana Muda yang mengikuti jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Melayu dipilih sebagai sampel kajian. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), Smart PLS, dan Microsoft Excel, dengan model Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) digunakan untuk menilai korelasi Pearson, kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan instrumen, serta kesahan diskriminasi menggunakan Nisbah Heterotrait-Monotrait (HTMT). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa motivasi penentuan kendiri (intrinsik) dan motivasi bukan penentuan kendiri (ekstrinsik) tidak mempunyai hubungan statistik yang signifikan dengan pencapaian prestasi guru pelatih. Walau bagaimanapun, faktor-faktor motivasi secara keseluruhan menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan dan kukuh dengan pencapaian prestasi guru pelatih. Dapatan ini menggariskan keperluan untuk menyediakan persekitaran kerja yang kondusif, peluang pembangunan profesional, serta sistem ganjaran dan pengiktirafan yang sesuai bagi meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi guru pelatih. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan kepada pihak berkepentingan dalam usaha memperkukuhkan pembangunan kualiti pendidikan demi masa depan sistem pendidikan negara. |
