| Kajian ini bertujuan menentukan hubungan antara jangkaan Fizik dengan tahap pencapaian Fizik dalam kalangan pelajar Tingkatan 4 di Daerah Besut. Kajian ini mempunyai tiga objektif iaitu mengenal pasti jangkaan Fizik, mengenal pasti tahap pencapaian Fizik dan menentukan hubungan antara jangkaan Fizik dengan tahap pencapaian Fizik dalam kalangan pelajar Tingkatan 4 di Daerah Besut. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kajian kolerasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel kajian dipilih menggunakan teknik persempelan secara rawak mudah. Seramai 230 sampel yang dipilih terdiri daripada pelajar Tingkatan 4 yang mempelajari mata pelajaran Fizik di lima buah sekolah di Daerah Besut, Terengganu. Kajian ini menggunakan Maryland Physics Expectations Survey (MPEX). Data dianalisis menggunakan ujian statistik deskriptif untuk mendapatkan nilai min dan peratusan. Analisis statistik inferensi juga dijalankan bagi ujian korelasi bagi melihat hubungan antara jangkaan Fizik dengan tahap pencapaian Fizik. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahawa jangkaan Fizik berada pada tahap sederhana (F = 37%) dan tahap pencapaian Fizik juga berada pada tahap sederhana. Kajian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jangkaan Fizik dengan tahap pencapaian Fizik (__ = 0.186, __ = 0.005). Kesimpulannya, jangkaan Fizik dan tahap pencapaian Fizik berada pada tahap sederhana dan hubungan antaranya adalah signifikan tetapi lemah. |
