| Kajian ini bertujuan mengenalpasti kewujudan stres serta faktor-faktor penyumbang bagi stres yang dihadapi oleh pelajar dalam suasana sebelum dan semasa Covid-19 serta pengaruhnya terhadap prestasi akademik pelajar. Kajian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan borang soal selidik dan kajian perpustakaan sebagai instrumen kepada 177 orang pelajar universiti di Malaysia. Data-data dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for Sciences (SPSS) versi 26 untuk mendapatkan peratus kekerapan, min dan nilai korelasi. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkan pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) semasa Covid-19 mempunyai pengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik pelajar. Perkara ini adalah selari dengan keputusan analisis tahap stres pelajar yang merekodkan skor min lebih tinggi berbanding tahap stres pelajar sebelum Covid-19. Terdapat tiga faktor signifikan yang mempengaruhi tahap stres pelajar iaitu faktor PdP, sosial dan faktor prasarana dan persekitaran. Dapatan dari kajian ini memberikan maklumat dari sudut yang berbeza mengenai pentingnya mengenalpasti tahap serta faktor penyumbang bagi stres yang dihadapi oleh pelajar-pelajar universiti semasa pembelajaran secara atas talian dilaksanakan berbanding kaedah tradisional; dan seterusnya memberi panduan pada pihak yang berkenaan dalam misi mengatasi masalah ini terutamanya yang berkaitan dengan masalah kesihatan mental serta langkah-langkah dan usaha untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik, motivasi, komitmen serta kesediaan pelajar dalam menghadapi pembelajaran secara atas talian sekiranya kaedah pembelajaran secara dalam talian masih dilaksanakan di masa hadapan. |
