Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
This research endeavours to acquaint and equip primary school students with tennis readiness through the development of a street tennis module. This investigation use the Design & Development Research (DDR) approach. The present study was executed in three distinct phases: need analysis, design and development, and usability evaluation. In the phase of needs analysis, it involves 30 primary school teachers for the survey while three primary school teachers for interview session. In the interim, during the design and development phase, twenty experts and seven external experts were engaged in the identification of key components and elements in the module. In addition, during the usability evaluation phase, 20 primary school teachers with fundamental tennis knowledge participated in evaluating the developed module's usability and as well as four field experts to strengthen the usability assessment through interviews. The results obtained from the need analysis indicate that there is a requirement to create a street tennis module. While design and development phase through the analysis of the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM), two primary components and six elements are generated: a threshold value (d) of 0.2, an expert consensus of 75%, and an alpha value (-cut=0.5). The utilization of the Modified Nominal Group (Modified NGT) technique during the evaluation phase has demonstrated that experts' consensus on each item in the tennis readiness module based on street tennis exceeds 70%. As a result of the interviews conducted with four experts, a consensus was reached regarding this module, as it is appropriate for implementation in co-curriculum activities and can help to animate sport activities at primary school. In summary, this research has yielded a street tennis module that has demonstrated a notable degree of usability. The tennis landscape in Malaysia is anticipated to benefit from the implementation of this study via the creation of a street tennis module for primary school students to produce talented tennis player in Malaysia.
