Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
This study explored the acceptance of virtual reality (VR) in educational settings for deaf students in the UAE. A sample of 100 deaf learners from LIWA College, Al Ain University, and Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination was selected using convenience sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modelling (CB-SEM) with AMOS software, employing a 5-point Likert scale to measure TAM constructs consistently. The findings revealed that performance expectancy, self-efficacy, and perceived enjoyment significantly influenced deaf students' behavioural intention to use VR. These factors also positively impacted the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of VR technology. Both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness mediated the relationships between the key predictors and behavioural intention, emphasizing their essential roles in VR adoption.
