Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk membangunkan satu instrumen Teknologi Automotif
(KTeA) bagi mengukur tahap kompetensi pengetahuan dan kemahiran tenaga pengajar di Institut Latihan
Kemahiran (ILK). Reka bentuk kajian yang digunakan adalah kaedah pembangunan instrumen berpandukan
Model Miller, Lovler dan Mclntire (2013). Kajian ini mempunyai fasa pertama melibatkan proses
mereka bentuk dan membina instrumen. Mereka bentuk instrumen adalah menghasilkan konstruk dan
subkonstruk berdasarkan analisis dokumen dan melibatkan teknik Delphi Terubah Suai sebanyak tiga
pusingan. Fasa kedua melibatkan proses kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan instrumen. Kesahan kandungan
melibatkan lima orang pakar dalam bidang Automotif. Kesahan konstruk dan kebolehpercayaan instrumen
diperolehi dengan menjalankan kajian rintis pertama terhadap 50 pengajar ILK dan kajian rintis
kedua terhadap 50 pengajar ILK. Dapatan menggunakan perisian Winstep 3.72.3 berdasarkan pendekatan
model pengukuran Rasch mengekalkan 58 item pengetahuan dan 100 item kemahiran. Kajian sebenar
dilaksanakan ke atas 249 tenaga pengajar ILK menghasilkan kebolehpercayaan responden (0.82) dan
kebolehpercayaan item (0.98) bagi konstruk pengetahuan manakala kebolehpercayaan responden (0.99)
dan kebolehpercayaan item (0.99) bagi konstruk kemahiran. Indeks pengasingan responden (2.13) dan
indeks pengasingan item (6.69) bagi konstruk pengetahuan manakala indeks pengasingan responden
(8.33) dan indeks pengasingan item (12.56) bagi konstruk kemahiran. Instrumen KTeA mengekalkan
sebanyak 39 item pengetahuan dan 90 item kemahiran. Ini menunjukkan instrumen KTeA adalah instrumen
yang baik kerana memenuhi piawaian psikometrik dan boleh digunakan oleh tenaga pengajar bagi
mengukur tahap kompetensi pengetahuan dan kemahiran. Impak kajian ini adalah instrumen KTeA boleh
dijadikan alat pengukuran kompetensi pengetahuan dan kemahiran serta dijadikan rujukan untuk
meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemahiran dalam teknologi automotif.
