Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
The scope is then expanded to the development of such skills in the urban and rural sectors of the country. A comparison at this stage is required to understand the nature of these two geographical sectors and how attitude and exposure towards art can affect skill development. The two sectors are equal as far as educational curriculum and syllabus are concerned. Should there be a difference, then the domestic environment will be the pertinent factor. The subject of environment will be discussed and effort towards breaking down the environmental issues will be forwarded in the following chapters. To understand the nature of art education, a brief study of childhood development in drawing will be explored and how it can assist in speeding up the process of understanding. A brief look into how the brain functions in the creative domain and factors of deterrence and constrains will be discussed and debated. Tests, evaluation strategy, condition, and choices of respondents are all skewed towards achieving the results to answer some of the research questions forwarded in this research exercise.
