This study is to collect and see the future of Kuala Kangsar dialect. Kuala Kangsar dialect collection efforts were concentrated in three parishes in the vicinity of Kuala Kangsar. This effort also said that Kuala Kangsar dialect is increasingly marginalized due to trace the Standard Malay. An increasing number of young people who do not want to use the dialect of the shame and the impact of the Malaysian education system that emphasized Standard Malay. The dialect is actually able to take a credit in Malay Language Standard. Standard pronunciation and dialects have their own role in the communication. The dialect is not only as a communication tool but a tool to identify the culture of the Malays and even the identity of the Malay language will be maintained and expanded. |
