Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian  ini  adalah  satu  usaha  yang  dijalankan  untuk  mengetahui  sejauh  mana  tahap penggunaan Pengurusan Sistem Maklumat Pendidikan (EMIS) di sekolah seluruh Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan. Dalam penyelidikan ini, kejayaan penggunaan EMIS dilihat dari segi manfaat  kepada individu dan organisasi. Reka bentuk penyelidikan ini adalah korelasi- deskriptif dan data  kuantitatif dikumpul dengan menggunakan soal selidik. Penyelidikan ini menggunakan teknik  pensampelan rawak strata untuk memilih 607 responden. Data kajian dianalisis dengan menggunakan  analisis deskriptif dan analisis regrasi berganda. Kajian ini mendapati empat daripada enam faktor  iaitu Kepuasan Pengguna EMIS (β = .45), Penglibatan Pengguna EMIS (β = .25), Kekuatan Sistem EMIS  (β= .24), Kefahaman Pengguna EMIS (β = .20) adalah faktor penyumbang yang signifikan kepada  kejayaan penggunaan EMIS dan menghasilkan persamaan regresi (Y-hatK-EMIS = -0.19 + 0.24(Kekuatan  Sistem (KS)) + 0.20(Kefahaman Pengguna (KP)) + 0.25(Penglibatan Pengguna (PP)) + 0.45(Kepuasan  Pengguna (KPP)), persamaan regresi piawai (ZY-hatK-EMIS =0.22ZKS + 0.061ZKP + 0.26ZPP + 0.44ZKpP). Didapati tidak semua faktor yang dicadangkan dalam model  kerangka konsep menunjukkan korelasi yang signifikan dengan pemboleh ubah kejayaan penggunaan EMIS. Faktor kefahaman pengguna EMIS didapati tidak signifikan dari segi korelasinya dengan pemboleh ubah kejayaan penggunaan EMIS dan terpaksa dikeluarkan  daripada Model Kejayaan Penggunaan EMIS. Implikasi daripada kajian ini Kementerian Pendidikan  Malaysia perlu menambahbaik dasar sedia ada yang digunakan untuk membangunkan aplikasi pengurusan  sistem maklumat di Kementerian selaras dengan intipati Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia 2013 – 2025.
