Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Case Studies Research on the Application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Teaching and Learning Process in Physics was implemented to learn more about the application of ICT in secondary school. This approach was chosen for the understanding of realities of ICT implementation and problems faced by teacher who implement it. This study was also conducted to identify how teachers implement the ICT in physics teaching and learning process, problems, problems solution and find out whether factors such as attitudes of teachers, teaching experience, number of hours of teaching, knowledge and computer skills and experience of the course ICT influence the adoption of ICT in teaching and learning physics. This study involved five teachers who serve as subjects in the district of Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. Subjects were selected using selected sampling. Interview protocol as the main research instruments used to gather information. Process monitoring studies such as the early selection of locations, sample, selection of instruments, observations and data analysis is planned with care so that this study can be implemented smoothly. Therefore, researchers choose Cohen Kappa Index Analysis to determine the reliability of interview data is to use two methods of triangulation and the review of members. Further detailed findings of which are ways of ICT adoption is frequently carried out by the subjects in the teaching and learning physics. The findings also show that the main problems faced by teachers such as power outages and maintenance problems. It is hoped that this study can contribute to the reader. |
