This study is conducted to gain insight knowledge and discover the suitability of the first principle in Takmilah Theory that is the Divine Principle with Kamal’s characteristic on the novel The Missing Piece (Part I and II) written by Fatimah Busu. Taking into consideration Takmilah Theory as a piece of Islamic literature theory, this study will identify the image and Islamic awareness that fulfill the needs and meaning of the theory’s first principle. The Missing Piece (Part I and II) is choosen after the researcher finds that the author potrays many elements related to Islamic awareness together with Malay culture elements (specifically Kelantanese culture). However, for the purpose of this study, the analysis focuses on the elements which related and accurante to the meaning of the first principle in Takmilah Theory. This study divided by five chapters, First Chapter (Introduction), Second Chapter (Literature Review), Third Chapter (Elaboration on Takmilah Theory), Fourth Chapter (Analysis of the first principle of the theory to studied novel) and Fifth Chapter (Summary). The result of the study found on that there were several images and Islamic awareness that can be associated and relevant to the meaning of Kamal nature of divine principle. The images and Islamic awareness were detected through the philosophical mind of the author which is chanelled through the charaterisations of the charaters in the novel, especially on the main charaters. Thus, The Missing Piece by Fatimah Busu can be said as suitable for the needs and meaning of the first principle Takmilah Theory. |
