A holistic development of children should be evaluated based on performance assessment to determine the level of their development. The objective of this study is to look into the level of validation in the design of instruments construction after teacher training is given. Teachers evaluate children holistic development based on performance assessment to see the index of children abilities, rater’s influences and bias interaction. Data were collected from six children aged 2 and 3 years using 3 raters. Observation instrument is used for assessing the performance of children in six domains. Many-Facet Rasch Model (MFRM) is used to analyze data. Findings show that exact index reading measure children have high and low capabilities, severity and leniency rater and no significant bias interaction. The standard measurement tool and measurement model proposed to increase the accuracy of the scores which evaluate children holistic development in quantitative. |
