Abstract : |
Program integrasi sawit telah diperkenalkan oleh Lembaga Minyak Sawit Malaysia (MPOB) dalam Rancangan Malaysia Kesembilan (RMK9) sebagai pemangkin kepada sasaran meningkatkan pendapatan para pekebun. Program integrasi sawit adalah satu program yang mengintegrasikan tanaman sawit bersama ternakan dan/atau tanaman. Persoalannya, apakah pekebun kecil sawit melaksanakan integrasi sawit dan sejauhmana kelangsungan pelaksanaan integrasi sawit dipraktiskan oleh pekebun kecil sawit? Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk membuat perbandingan pelaksanaan dan kelangsungan integrasi sawit dalam kalangan pekebun kecil sawit di Johor dan Sabah. Sejumlah 140 pekebun kecil sawit di Johor dan 130 pekebun kecil sawit di Sabah akan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif bagi menjawab objektif kajian. Hasil kajian dijangkakan akan dapat digunakan bagi menambahkan baik pelaksanaan integrasi sawit dalam kalangan pekebun kecil sawit di kedua-dua negeri. |
