Jurnal Sains Sukan dan Pendidikan Jasmani 7(1): Received: 21 December 2017, Accepted: 20 January 2018 – Isu berkaitan salah laku dalam kalangan penyokong bola sepak di Malaysia bukanlah satu isu yang baru. Antara salah laku yang sering dilakukan oleh para penyokong bola sepak di negara ini adalah membabitkan salah laku bersifat verbal dan fizikal. Pihak FAM telah menjatuhkan denda dan hukuman bukan sahaja dalam bentuk wang ringgit bahkan turut menghukum pasukan bermain dalam keadaan stadium kosong. Namun demikian, semua hukuman tersebut masih tidak mampu untuk memastikan para penyokong mematuhi peraturan dan mengamalkan sikap profesional semasa berada di dalam stadium. Objektif artikel ini adalah ingin membincangkan mengenai kawalan sosial secara internal dan external yang mampu mengekang salah laku dalam kalangan penyokong bola sepak. Kajian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan seramai 600 orang responden terdiri daripada penyokong bola sepak daripada pasukan negeri Kelantan, Johor, Perak dan Selangor terlibat dalam sesi soal selidik yang telah dijalankan bagi mendapatkan data dan maklumat. Dapatan kajian yang utama adalah majoriti responden bersetuju bahawa setiap penyokong perlu mempunyai kawalan sosial secara internal dengan memfokuskan kepada pengawalan emosi, bersikap profesional, perlu lebih berdisiplin dan perlu mempunyai semangat kesukanan yang tinggi. Tetapi tidak menolak bahawa kepentingan kawalan sosial secara external seperti denda dan hukuman oleh pihak FAM, tangkapan dan dijatuhkan hukuman oleh mahkamah turut perlu dikuatkuasakan dengan lebih menyeluruh. |
