Abstract : |
Artikel ini mengkaji dinamika protes politik yang berlaku di Malaysia dengan memfokuskan analisisnya kepada perubahan pola protes politik sejak dari era pra-kemerdekaan hingga ke era tsunami politik. Perbincangan ini penting untuk melihat siapakah aktor dan pendokong utama yang menggerakkan gerakan protes di Malaysia. Dengan menggunakan kaedah menganalisis kandungan, hasil kajian ini mendapati bahawa pola protes politik di Malaysia berubah dari gerakan buruh, gerakan politik ke gerakan pelajar dan seterusnya ke gerakan sosial baru yang lebih longgar strukturnya. Perubahan dalam pola protes politik ini berkait rapat dengan perubahan isu yang dibawa dalam protes seperti isu ekonomi dan hak asasi manusia, kemunculan media baru dan pengaruh global. Antara aktor utama yang menggerakkan protes politik di Malaysia adalah parti politik, pemimpin de facto dan kumpulan masyarakat sivil. |
