Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai keberkesanan simulasi berkomputer dengan litar elektronik terhadap motivasi, pencapaian dan juga bebanan kognitif pelajar. Penilaian dilakukan melalui ujian pos, soal-Instructional Materials Motivational Scale (IMMS) dan ujian bebanan kognitif NASA Task Load Index. Kajian ini membincangkan mengenai pembangunan Simulasi LiveWire serta lembaran kerja makmal bagi perisian LiveWire yang akan dibangunkan bagi matapelajaran Rekabentuk & Teknologi bagi pelajar tingkatan dua di peringkat sekolah menengah Proses penilaian perisian kit LiveWire dan lembaran kerja makmal yang akan dibangunkan melibatkan penilaian kebolehgunaan dan kepuasan hati pengguna. Kaedah penyampaian dengan menggunakan LiveWire merupakan satu langkah kerja yang sistematik dalam penerokaan penggunaan simulasi bagi litar elektronik. LiveWire ini juga bersesuaian dan berupaya dalam meningkatkan pembinaan pengetahuan bermakna pelajar. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pendekatan strategi penggunaan lembaran kerja makmal dalam membantu pelajar menerokai dan menguasai sesuatu aplikasi simulasi, terutamanya bagi pelajar novis.
