Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti implikasi buli terhadap emosi dan tingkah laku
dalam kalangan pelajar di dua buah sekolah menengah di luar bandar. Kajian ini berbentuk kajian kes
dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Peserta kajian terdiri daripada lima orang pelajar iaitu
tiga orang lelaki dan dua orang perempuan yang berumur di antara 13 hingga 17 tahun. Selain itu,
peserta kajian tambahan terdiri daripada dua orang guru disiplin dan dua orang guru kaunseling
dengan menggunakan teknik persampelan bertujuan. Instrumen kajian adalah berasaskan protokol temu
bual yang mendalam dan menyeluruh secara tidak berstruktur.Data kajian telah dianalisis secara
deskriptif dan naratif untuk mengenal pasti tema-tema yang muncul. Teknik triangulasi data daripada
hasil temu bual pelajar dan guru, analisis dokumen seperti rekod disiplin, rekod kehadiran, dan
rekod pencapaian akademik serta pemerhatian telah dilakukan bagi menentukan kesahan dan
kebolehpercayaan. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan berlakunya kes buli dalam kalangan pelajar di sekolah
menengah di luar bandar berdasarkan tema- tema utama yang muncul seperti kesan buli dari aspek
emosi dan kesan buli ke atas tingkah laku. Dapatan kajian juga mendapati jenis buli yang lazim
berlaku ialah buli emosi yang menyebabkan konflik dan krisis dari aspek perlakuan, pemikiran, dan
perasaan pelajar yang menjadi mangsa buli. Kesimpulan kajian mendapati buli buli terhadap emosi
lebih banyak berlaku berbanding buli tingkah laku. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa buli telah
meninggalkan kesan negatif terhadap mangsa dari aspek emosi dan tingkah laku pelajar serta persepsi
negatif mangsa buli terhadap dunia sebenar
mereka.
