Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbezaan amalan penggunaan air dalam kalangan pelajar tingkatan empat daerah Kinta Utara, Perak mengikut jantina. Kajian kuantitatif ini melibatkan 420 orang pelajar dari tiga belas sekolah. Pemilihan sekolah sebagai sampel kajian adalah menerusi teknik persampelan rawak berstrata manakala respondan dipilih secara kaedah rawak mudah. Data kajian dikumpul melalui borang soal selidik yang berfokus pada aspek lima pemboleh ubah iaitu pengetahuan, nilai, kemahiran, sikap dan amalan penggunaan air secara lestari. Analisis inferensi (ujian-t) digunakan untuk menjawab objektif kajian. Dapatan analisis t-test menunjukkan bahawa tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dari segi pengetahuan, nilai, kemahiran dan amalan penggunaan air secara lestari berdasarkan jantina. Seterusnya analisis ujian-t menunjukkan bahawa terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dari segi sikap penggunaan air antara pelajar lelaki dengan pelajar perempuan. Jelas bahawa tidak wujud perbezaan dari segi amalan penggunaan air dalam kalangan pelajar berdasarkan jantina. Walaupun demikian aspek sikap perlu diberi perhatian agar pelajar lelaki dan perempuan sentiasa bersikap positif terhadap amalan penjimatan air demi mencapai pengurusan air berterusan.
