Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian kuantitatif menggunakan kaedah penilaian program ini bertujuan untuk menilai aspek input,
output, outcome dan impact bagi tiga program pembelajaran non-formal Orang Asli dewasa iaitu
Program Kelas Dewasa bagi Ibubapa Murid Orang Asli dan Peribumi (KEDAP KPM), Program Kelas
Dewasa Asli dan Peribumi (KEDAP JAKOA) dan Program Latihan Kemahiran dan Kerjaya (PLKK).
Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini terdiri daripada soal selidik, protokol temubual dan
senarai semak pemerhatian bagi tujuan memperolehi data daripada responden kajian. Seramai 136
responden pengurusan, 331 pelajar dan 144 guru telah dipilih secara rawak bagi program KEDAP KPM,
manakala 36 responden pengurusan, 351 pelajar dan 97 guru dipilih secara rawak bagi program
KEDAP JAKOA. Untuk program PLKK pula seramai 48 responden pengurusan, 214 pelatih dan
40 tenaga pengajar telah dipilih secara rawak. Untuk temubual, seramai tiga orang
responden telah dipilih daripada setiap kategori responden termasuk pemimpin Orang Asli dan
secara keseluruhannya terdapat 36 orang peserta yang telah ditemubual. Secara umumnya,
dapatan utama data soal selidik mendapati responden bersetuju bahawa mereka dapat menguruskan
aspek input dengan baik. Begitu juga dengan aspek output dan aspek outcome telah dilaksanakan
dengan berkesan. Walau bagaimanapun berdasarkan data kualitatif, beberapa cadangan dianjurkan
seperti memperbaiki infrastruktur sedia ada bagi kelas KEDAP JAKOA, menambah bahan bantu
mengajar guru dan tenaga pengajar, menambah baik kurikulum sedia ada, melaksanakan
kursus andragogi dan latihan mengajar secara intensif kepada guru dan tenaga pengajar serta
melaksanakan kursus motivasi pelajar bagi program KEDAP KPM dan KEDAP JAKOA. Selain itu, kursus
kemahiran insaniah kepada pelatih PLKK secara berpusat dan mewujudkan kursus- kursus
berbentuk kemahiran keusahawanan dan perniagaan juga telah dicadangkan. Dapatan kajian
juga menunjukkan aspek kurikulum, proses pengajaran dan kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran
adalah antara faktor yang kritikal dalam memastikan keberkesanan sesuatu program.
Justeru, implikasi utama kajian adalah satu pendekatan pengajaran KEDAP yang
baharu iaitu andragogi peribumi perlu diterapkan ke dalam pengajaran KEDAP
Orang Asli dewasa. Akhir sekali, berdasarkan dapatan empirikal kajian, satu kerangka
baharu perancangan am pembelajaran non-formal Orang Asli dewasa di Malaysia telah
dicadangkan.
