Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti penglibatan ibu bapa dalam didikan kanak-
kanak di TASKA KEMAS, Perak. Objektif kajian ini ialah untuk mengenal pasti tahap
penglibatan ibu bapa daripada perspektif ibu bapa dan guru serta mengkaji kerjasama ibu
bapa di TASKA KEMAS. Kajian tinjauan menggunakan instrumen soal selidik dan kajian
kualitatif menggunakan temu bual. Sampel terdiri daripada 47 orang ibu bapa dan 28 orang guru
TASKA KEMAS. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif seperti min,
sisihan piawai dan peratusan. Data kualitatif pula dianalisis secara tematik oleh
Boyatzis (1998) berdasarkan transkrip temu bual. Dapatan kuantitatif menunjukkan penglibatan ibu
bapa daripada perspektif mereka berada pada tahap yang sederhana (min = 3.234, SP =
0.757). Daripada perspektif guru pula, penglibatan ibu bapa di TASKA juga berada pada tahap
yang sederhana (min = 3.365, SP = 0.667). Dapatan kajian kualitatif pula mendapati
kerjasama daripada ibu bapa di TASKA KEMAS masih kurang memuaskan dari segi bentuk kerjasama yang
diberikan oleh ibu bapa kerana halangan besar ibu bapa adalah kekangan masa. Kesimpulannya,
penglibatan dan kerjasama daripada ibu bapa dalam didikan kanak-kanak di TASKA masih lagi
sederhana dan perlu ditingkatkan untuk kepentingan perkembangan kanak-kanak. Implikasi
kajian ini menunjukkan penglibatan dan kerjasama daripada ibu bapa penting untuk
meningkatkan kefahaman yang mendalam berkaitan keperluan dan kepentingan kanak-kanak serta
memberi sokongan dan manfaat dalam pembelajaran kanak-kanak di TASKA. Penganjuran aktiviti
dan program yang dianjurkan oleh guru hendaklah mengikut kesesuaian masa
ibu bapa agar penglibatan ibu bapa dapat dikekalkan secara konsisten.
