Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan meneroka pelaksanaan Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah (PBS) dalam kalangan  guru   Pendidikan  Seni  Visual  (PSV)  Sekolah  Kebangsaan    di  Hilir  Perak  dan Bagan    Datuk.     Fokus    kajian   adalah    mengenai   kesediaan    guru-guru   PSV   dalam melaksanakan PBS serta  membentuk pengujian PBS dalam pentaksiran dan pengukuran di tiga buah sekolah kebangsaan di Hilir  Perak dan  Bagan Datuk. Kajian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualittatif berdasarkan reka  bentuk kajian kes. Kajian kes telah dijalankan  di  tiga  buah  sekolah  kebangsaan  yang   melibatkan  dua  (2)  orang  pentadbir sekolah dan 11 orang guru Sekolah Kebangsaan di bandar dan  luar bandar. Data dikumpul menggunakan temu bual, pemerhatian, rakaman visual dan analisis dokumen.  Data kajian dianalisis secara tematik berdasarkan model alir Miles dan Huberman. Tema yang muncul  daripada  temubual  adalah  kesediaan  guru,  pelaksanaan  PBS  serta  bentuk  pengujian  dan  pengukuran. Kajian ini menggunakan model ASSURE untuk mengkaji proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran  yang merangkumi tiga komponen iaitu menganalisis murid, menyatakan objektif serta melakukan  penilaian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan guru kurang bersedia dari segi pengetahuan dan kemahiran  pelaksanaan PBS atas sebab kekurangan pemantauan dan penjaminan  kualiti  dalam  proses   melaksanakan  PBS.  Sehubungan  itu,  dapatan  kajian menunjukkan  tahap  kesediaan  guru  dari   aspek  kehadiran  kursus,  penetapan  objektif,  dan proses   menganalisis   murid   masih   lemah.    Dalam   melaksanakan   pentaksiran   PBS, kebanyakan guru tidak merujuk instrumen yang disediakan  oleh pihak KPM. Dapatan turut menunjukkan pentaksiran PBS dalam PSV lebih sesuai ditaksir  berasaskan konsep estetik yang    boleh    dijadikan    sebagai    rujukan    bagi    menjamin     mutu    penilaian    karya. Kesimpulannya,  guru  PSV  masih  lemah  dalam  aspek  kemahiran   melaksanakan  PBS. Implikasi kajian adalah penambahbaikan dari aspek pengetahuan dan kemahiran guru  PSV dalam  melaksanakan  PBS  perlu  diperkasa  melalui  latihan  berkala  dan  panduan  yang relevan untuk guru PSV.
