Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian  ini  bertujuan  mengenal  pasti  hubungan  di  antara  gaya  kepimpinan  dengan  pencapaian akademik  murid.  Kajian  ini  juga  bagi  mengenal  pasti  jenis  gaya  kepimpinan  yang   diamalkan oleh guru-guru besar sebagai pemimpin. Kajian ini dilaksanakan secara tinjauan yang  melibatkan 186  orang  guru  di  Sekolah  Jenis  Kebangsaan  Tamil  Daerah  Kuala  Kangsar  dan   Kinta  Utara, Perak.  Reka  bentuk  kajian  kuantitatif  dipilih  untuk  menjawab  tiga  persoalan   kajian  dan  dua hipotesis.   Data   gaya   kepimpinan   dikutip   melalui   soal   selidik   LBDQ    12.   Data   dianalisis menggunakan  statistik  deskriptif  dan  inferens.  Manakala,  data   pencapaian  sekolah  diperoleh melalui Gred Purata Sekolah. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat  hubungan yang signifikan di antara  gaya kepimpinan orientasi tugas dengan pencapaian akademik  (p
