Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara burnout dengan kepuasan kerja dalam
kalangan guru Tadika Islam,Perak. Selain itu, kajian ini juga bertujuan untuk melihat tiga
aspek dalam burnout iaitu keletihan emosi, gangguan keperibadian kendiri dan pencapaian
peribadi. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang melibatkan reka bentuk tinjauan
deskriptif. Seramai 118 orang guru Tadika Islam, Perak dipilih secara rawak untuk dijadikan
sampel bagi kajian ini. Satu set soal selidik yang terdiri daripada Maslach burnout inventory
(MBI-ES) di sediakan oleh Fatima Eid Zaid dan Majed Mohammad (2017) digunakan untuk
mengukur tahap burnout guru Tadika Islam,Perak dan satu set soal selidik Teacher Job Satisfaction
Questionnaire (TJSQ) disediakan oleh Cheng dan Chen (2011) di gunakan bagi mengukur kepuasan
kerja dalam kalangan guru. Data kajian yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Statistic
Packages for Sosial Science (SPSS) melibatkan statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensi.
Analisis deskriptif menjelaskan tahap burnout dan kepuasan kerja guru, manakala statistik
inferensi melibatkan ujian korelasi Pearson yang menerangkan perhubungan yang mungkin wujud antara
pemboleh ubah kajian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan tahap burnout guru tadika berada di
tahap sederhana manakala tahap kepuasan kerja pula pada tahap yang tinggi. Hasil dapatan
kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara burnout dan
kepuasan kerja dalam kalangan guru Tadika (r=.041,p=0.662). Seterusnya, dapatan juga
menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan di antara sub skala burnout sub skala
keletihan emosi (r=.084, p=0.368), sub skala depersonalisasi (r=-.026, p=0.781), sub skala
pencapaian peribadi (r=.022, p=0.810) dengan kepuasan kerja. Secara kesimpulannya pengkaji
beranggapan dapatan ini adalah disebabkan oleh sesetengah guru boleh menerima cabaran dan bertahan
dalam profesion mereka dengan memberi perkhidmatan yang cemerlang. Implikasi daripada kajian ini
diharapkan dapat memberi manfaat kepada semua pihak bertanggung jawab terutamanya kepada guru
Tadika supaya dapat menjalankan tanggung jaw b dengan lebih profesional apabila
menyedari dan
memahami tentang burnout.
