Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini dijalankan untuk membuat penambahbaikan komponen ujian dalam SEGAK dan
pembinaan indeks ke atas pelajar perempuan berumur 13 tahun di Wilayah Zon Keramat,
Kuala Lumpur. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kuantitatif dengan kaedah normatif.
Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini ialah Indeks Jisim Tubuh, Lompat Jauh Berdiri, Bangkit
Tubi Lutut Bengkok, Kelenturan dan PACER. Seramai 240 orang sampel pelajar perempuan berumur 13
tahun di lima buah sekolah menengah dipilih secara persampelan berstrata, rawak berlapis
dan rawak mudah. Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Zon R1 Wangsa Maju (n=56), Sekolah Menengah
Kebangsaan Seri Titiwangsa (n=15), Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Puteri Ampang (n=63), Sekolah
Menengah Kebangsaan Wangsa Melawati (n=48) dan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Setapak Indah
(n=58) telah terpilih sebagai lokasi kajian. Nilai kebolehpercayaan diperolehi melalui kaedah
uji dan ulang uji. Manakala nilai objektiviti intra tester reliability dan inter tester reliability
menggunakan kaedah korelasi. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan bahawa indeks komposisi lemak, kuasa
otot, daya tahan otot, kelenturan dan daya tahan kardiovaskular dapat dibina berdasarkan bateri
ujian yang telah digunakan. Analisis yang telah dilakukan jelas menunjukkan bahawa tiada
sebarang ralat atau permasalahan data yang dihadapi oleh penyelidik dalam aspek mencari
kebolehpercayaan dan kesahan kajian ini. Hasil kajian ini dapat digunakan oleh guru-guru di sekolah
untuk menentukan komponen kecergasan fizikal yang berkaitan. Hasil dapatan kajian juga
membuktikan bahawa pelajar perempuan berumur 13 tahun yang telah mencapai usia baliqh adalah
tidak mahu bersenam dan menghadkan penglibatan dalam aktiviti sukan. Kajian ini telah memberikan
implikasi kepada penggunaan indeks yang sah dan boleh dipercayai kepada murid perempuan berumur 13
tahun bagi memudahkan pemantauan secara berkala terhadap tahap kecergasan fizikal. Selain
daripada itu indeks ini juga berfungsi sebagai alat untuk ibu bapa memantau dan seterusnya
meningkatkan tahap kesedaran dan kepentingan
kecergasan fizikal murid.
