Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti tahap kemiskinan penduduk kawasan setinggan
serta hubungannya dengan tingkat pendapatan. Objektif spesifik yang disasarkan adalah
seperti berikut, Mengukur tingkat pendapatan penduduk setinggan, Mengenal pasti tahap kebajikan
penduduk setinggan, Menentukan tentang tingkat pendidikan penduduk setinggan dan
Menganalisis hubungan di antara faktor pendidikan dan ekonomi penduduk setinggan.
Penyelidikan ini bersifat satu kajian tinjauan yang menggunakan borang soal selidik sebagai
instrumen kajian. Data diperoleh dari dua kawasan setinggan terpilih iaitu Kampung Setia Jaya dan
Kampung Chu Badak yang kedua-duanya terletak di kawasan Parlimen Wangsa Maju. Seramai 150
orang responden telah mengambil bahagian dalam kajian ini dan kutipan data dilakukan
melalui kaedah Pensampelan Rawak Strata. Analisis data menggunakan kaedah deskriptif
statistik, ujian Korelasi Pearson dan juga ujian regresi. Dapatan bagi analisis ekonomi
menunjukkan 85% responden berada dalam kategori B40 (Pendapatan ≤ RM 3860)
manakala peratus yang selebihnya berada dalam kategori M40 (RM 3860 |
