Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti keberkesanan program latihan pliometrik terhadap prestasi  lompatan dan  perubahan fizikal atlet. Seramai 24 orang atlet lelaki acara lompat jauh  lelaki  bawah  12  tahun  di  daerah  Cameron  Highland  terlibat  sebagai  peserta.  Peserta    kajian dibahagikan kepada  12 orang responden kumpulan kawalan dan 12 orang kumpulan rawatan.  Program  latihan  pliometrik  dijalankan  sebanyak  dua  (2)  kali  seminggu  selama  enam  (6)  minggu. Ujian prestasi lompatan, ujian lompat menegak, ujian lompat jauh berdiri, ujian squat, ukur  lilit otot peha dan   ukur lilit otot betis diukur semasa ujian  pra dan   ujian pasca. Data  dianalisis  dengan  menggunakan  ujian  ANOVA  dua  hala  untuk  mengenal  pasti    perbezaan  antara kumpulan,  masa ujian  dan  interaksi  antara kumpulan  dan  masa ujian.  Dapatan  kajian  menunjukkan  bahawa  terdapat  peningkatan  prestasi  pada  kedua  dua  kumpulan  rawatan  dan  kawalan   pada   jarak   lompatan,   ukur   lilit   peha   dan   betis   dengan   kumpulan    rawatan menunjukkan peningkatan prestasi yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan   berbanding kumpulan  kawalan.  Ujian ANOVA dua hala menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan bagi jarak lompatan   antara  kumpulan  (p
