Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti kemahiran guru vokasional dalam kerja amali pelajar
di kolej vokasional. Berdasarkan teori Miller dan Miller, Holland dan Adam, dan model penyeliaan
Glickman, Gordon dan Ross-Gordon, lima konstruk dipilih iaitu kemahiran komunikasi,
teknikal, motivasi, penilaian, dan pengurusan. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah tinjauan.
Instrumen kajian yang digunakan adalah soal selidik, item terbuka, protokol temu bual dan
senarai semak pemerhatian untuk memunggut data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pensampelan
rawak berstrata berdasarkan zon dan bidang kursus digunakan untuk memilih sampel kajian. Seramai
421 guru dan 431 pelajar daripada 31 buah kolej vokasional daripada empat zon di Semenanjung
Malaysia dipilih sebagai sampel dalam kajian ini. Dapatan analisis deskriptif
mendapati min kemahiran komunikasi adalah paling tinggi (M=3.98; SP=0.69) dan min
kemahiran pengurusan adalah yang terendah (M=3.75; SP=0.68). Dapatan ujian-t mendapati terdapat
